I finished:
Eat Lead: The return of Matt Hazard. A FPS parody game. Guys, believe me, this is a great game, never laughted so much on a game. It's physics look very much like Gears of War, the story envolves a video-game character who came back from trashy games like "Paintball Games" and now is envolved into some parody style games. The references/parodies/jokes I found in the game are: God of War: A boss Gears of War: The gameplay Super Mario: A character 007 series: Enemies and a map Wolfenstein: Enemies and textures (A veeeery old PC FPS game) Online games (Those strange user names like "[Your clan here]I_l00v_b00bs", female characters with male voice, health bar above the characters..) Final Fantasy (A boss who attacks turn based, has a command bar on his left side, which is written in Japanese and a HP and MP bar on his right side. Also, when you shoot him, the damage number appears) Kill Bill: The first map Halo: "Master Chef", enemies... Jokes about: Game programming, music genres like "funk", 8 bits, predefined character models and paths, dumb AI, censure on games... Gundam: Some posters Old West series and games: Enemies, textures and objects Tetris: The textures on a level Unreal Tournament: Weapons Perfect Dark: Female enemies Zombies At My Neighborhood, a old Mega Drive game: Enemies Matrix: The final map, the damage fx... Duke Nukem: Jokes about the never released games... Afro Samurai: A boss on the first level Too Human: Enemies, weapons. |
