Disc Change v2.1 Plugin (Configurable buttons)
Download: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
To install, just copy the "disc_change.prx" and "disc_change.ini" into SEPLUGINS
If you have a game.txt file in your memory stick SEPLUGINS folder already
then open the game.txt in the download, copy the line and paste it into
the game.txt file found in the SEPLUGINS folder on your memory stick.
If you don't have a game.txt, then copy the game.txt into SEPLUGINS folder on your memory stick.
you can open the 'INI' file and set the keys there, all the instructions are
in the INI file, but make sure you only edit the first line of the file...
I've set the plugin to use 'Cross + D-Pad Down + Screen button' which works fine on my PSP.
(Only problem is when you press the screen button to activate the plugin, the brightness changes)
but you can always edit the INI file if you want to change the buttons to something different.
'Disc_Change.ini' file contents:
Code:
PSP_CTRL_DOWN | PSP_CTRL_CROSS | PSP_CTRL_SCREEN
/*
You need to seperate each key with | if you want to use multiple keys.
The default is: "PSP_CTRL_LTRIGGER | PSP_CTRL_RTRIGGER | PSP_CTRL_NOTE"
Available Keys:
PSP_CTRL_CIRCLE
PSP_CTRL_CROSS
PSP_CTRL_SQUARE
PSP_CTRL_TRIANGLE
PSP_CTRL_UP
PSP_CTRL_DOWN
PSP_CTRL_RIGHT
PSP_CTRL_LEFT
PSP_CTRL_RTRIGGER
PSP_CTRL_LTRIGGER
(These Must be placed LAST on the line!)
PSP_CTRL_VOLUP
PSP_CTRL_VOLDOWN
PSP_CTRL_SCREEN
PSP_CTRL_NOTE
PSP_CTRL_SELECT
PSP_CTRL_START
PSP_CTRL_HOLD (should trigger when you slide the hold button on)
PSP_CTRL_WLAN_UP (should trigger when you slide the WLAN switch to on)
PSP_CTRL_DISC (should trigger when you open+close UMD tray, needs a UMD)
*/
Installing the 'Disc Change' Plugin to your memory stick.
1. Download and extract the 'Disc Change' plugin ZIP file to your computer.
2. Make a USB Connection and open your memory stick drive letter.
3a. Open the 'SEPLUGINS' if you have one on your memory stick
-- or --
3b. Make a new folder named 'SEPLUGINS' if you don't have one on your memory stick.
4. Copy the 'Disc_Change.prx' file and the "Disc_Change.ini" file into the 'SEPLUGINS' folder.
5a. If you have a 'game.txt text file in your SEPLUGINS folder already, open it and add this line to the end:
Code:
ms0:/seplugins/disc_change.prx 1
5b. If you don't have a 'game.txt' text file in your SEPLUGINS folder, then copy the 'game.txt' text file into the 'SEPLUGINS' folder.
6. Copy your DJ Max Portable ISOs to your memory stick. You can name your ISOs/CSOs to anything you like when using 'Disc Change v2.1'
You should also be able to link between 'ISO <-> CSO' files now. I have only tested linking from 'ISO <-> ISO' and 'CSO <-> CSO'
7. Close the USB Connection, turn off your PSP and enable the "disc_change.prx [GAME]" plugin in the recovery menu
Using the 'Disc Change v2.1' Plugin to Disc Link on DJ Max Black Square to DJ Max Clazziquai:
Note: Make sure you have 35mb of free space on your memory stick before using link disc.
The very first time you link disc 'Black Square' will save about 35mb of 'Link Disc Data' to your memory stick.
This takes about 3 to 5 minutes to do and is only done once. (Until you delete the link disc data).
1. Start 'DJ Max Portable Black Square' from the Game > Memory Stick Menu.

2. On the Title screen, Select link disc and press 'Circle'

3. It will say you must insert DJMax Portable Disc, choose 'Yes' and press 'Circle'
4. Choose 'DJMax Clazziquai Edition' and press 'Circle'
Screenshot: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
5. At the 'You must insert 'Clazziquai Edition' disc' message, select 'Yes' and press 'Circle'
6. At the 'Change UMD to Clazziquai Edition' screen, hold the 'Screen Brightness' button and press the X and Down buttons at the same time.
Screenshot: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
7. You will see on the screen a filename, this is the filename of ISO you want to change to.
9 If using the 'Sony NP9660' or the 'M33 Driver', your PSP will go into sleep mode, and come back on automatically, this is normal.
If using the 'Normal UMD required mode, wait about 10 seconds, if nothing happens, then you will need to open and close the UMD Door.
10. 'Black Square' will verify the disc (actually the ISO/CSO) and after you press 'Circle' you should be in the 'Clazziquai Edition' Link Disc section
Screenshot: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
11. To get back to black square, just go back to 6 but change the ISO to black square instead of Clazziquai Edition.
NOTE: i'm using old screenshots (from the ISO change v1.2 plugin), so your screens will look different from the ones in the screenshots.
That's how to use link disc between ISOs on DJ Max Portable Black Square.
Question. Will this work for a PSP-3000 with a ChickHEN R2 and CWF Enabler?
And if it does, does this method only work for the Clazziquai version? Or can i Link Disc Black Square to DJ mAx Portable 2?

Well, i have changed accounts..
And Well, Try removing your memory card and that point and putting it back..
OR if you have a UMD disc.. Open the UMD cover and close it again..
(the first version of this plugin was suppose to be like this)
Then if not, It might be your ISO/CSO's problem..
Badly Ripped/Damanged or name problem - I used to have a problem with it's name since it i cant change the ISO/CSO files..
Try naming them DJ Max CE and DJ Max BS
OR DJ MAX 3 and DJ MAX 4
I only tried CSO .. so try converting ISO to CSO
Make sure your files are not RIPPED but UNTOUCHED/FULL (removed some music, videos to make the game file smaller..) i been having reports of crashes on RIPPED files..
Yeah, I know.. I'm an idiot for hiding everything inside this small box below.. dumbest idiot of this world..

Same problem on mine. When you remove the memory card, it will say that saving data has failed, the current loaded iso (using a m33 driver) is the one you changed into. In reality there was no memory card access (no blinking lights while on that screen).
My ISO is untouched. Same with from Clazzi. Do you need a regular UMD in the drive for this to work?
