Default Final Fantasy: Kefka or Sephiroth? - 08-31-2009, 08:15 PM
So I got into a little debate with someone on another forum I go to. On which villain from Final Fantasy was the better villain:
Kefka from Final Fantasy VI

Or Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII

I backed Kefka for the pure reason that he actually managed to decieve and manipulate the empire to start a war, then using this and the heroes search for Espers to destroy and rule over the world. He didn't neccisarily have the power and used cunning and deciet to achieve his ambitions.

Kefka of course! Kefka was a crazy maniacal villain with the most annoying laugh in the history of FF villains. Sephiroth on the other hand was a tragic villain, a villain that you love and hate at same time who was vague in what he wanted to achieve while Kefka just wanted to destroy everything

He's one of the most popular video game villians of all time. And he has fanboys. Lots and lots. And fangirls. Lots and lots.

I prefer Sephiroth since he was a tragic villain. Kefka just annoyed me to the point I turned the sound off.
