What is the best game you've ever played?

I'd say Baldur's Gate 2 SoA and ToB.

It's far too difficult to narrow it down to one single solitaire game. As far as franchises, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are probably at the top for me. I may never be able to choose between FF6, 7, and X... and MGS 1, 3, and 4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is up there too.

1 & 3 are the greatest of the DMC series 4 was okay 2 was not, God of War series the Final Fantasy franchise and the Hitman series are also in the top as well as Kingdom Under Fire and Halo, oh no too many to name

Yup, MGS was one of the series I enjoyed the most along with DMC, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and Street Fighter.

I have alot of different games that I could sum up as the "best" but they're just too much to list.

if i went purely by time invested, i would probably have to say world of warcraft... but thats in the past now.
