Half a year after the 3ds is launched it's getting a massive $80 price cut down to $170. That's great news for everyone that's still considering on buying it or were just waiting for the price to go down.
But what about the people (such as myself) that bought one at the full $250? That's kind of a kick to the balls. Nintendo, already figuring there would be a backlash from current owners, will start a program on September 1st for 20 free classic NES and GBA games for any current 3ds owner.
The only requirement is that you log into the eStore at least once
before August 12, which is the date of the price drop. Anyone that has done that will automatically be registered and eligible to dl the free games starting September 1.
Only half the games have been announced so far:
NES
-Super Mario Bros
-Donkey Kong Jr
-Baloon Fight
-Ice Climber
-The Legend of Zelda
GBA
-Metroid Fusion
-Mario Kart: Super Circuit
-Mario vs Donkey Kong
-Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
-Warioware, Inc
