And apparently they are remaking Halo 1 for no reason :/ (that is just re-releasing it in HD)

bungie finished making halo after REACH was made, but the sold the rights to microsoft and the people making the game were also from bungie themselves.

That's kind of a good thing seeing as how bad they fucked up Halo 2, 3, and ODST. Getting two out of five games right (Combat Evolved + Reach) isn't that good.

As for the trailer.. could've shown more but I can understand why it didn't. Either way this looks pretty interesting. Never thought they'd make a sequel (even though it's obvious they would).

Also Halo Anniversary is NOT a remastering, they are putting in Halo Reach graphics. Here are some screenshots (from the nerds at Halopedia)
