People can post links of any visual novels they can think of. Eroge is allowed. Main page will be updated with new links once people post them. If I miss out on something then do let me know. So I say again, THIS PLACE IS STRICTLY FOR LINKS. Discussions, help or whatever is over here: VN Thread Discussion/Smalltalk

Information on what type of visual novel you provide links to/recommend is appreciated too. Just give a link to the VNdb and I'll add it to the information, and please do give an explanation as to how it's installed. Some are trickier than others. This information can also be added to main page.

FAQ
Installing Japanese support for Windows XP
-Install Japanese Language Option
1. Go to the “Control Panel”
2. Open “Regional and Language Options”
3. Click on the “Languages” tab
4. Check the “Install files for East Asian languages” check box
5. Display Dialog -> OK
6. Click the “OK” button on the “Regional and Language Options” dialog
7. Insert Windows CD-ROM
8. Wait while Windows is copying required files
9. Restart PC

Display non-Unicode Language and Regional Option Settings
1. Go to the “Control Panel”
2. Open “Regional and Language Options”
3. Click on the “Advanced” tab
4. Select “Japanese” from the pull-down menu at the “Language for non-Unicode Programs” section
5. Click the “OK” button on the “Regional and Language Options” dialog
6. Restart PC

Installing Japanese support for Windows Vista and Windows 7

1. Click on “Start” then “Control Panel”
2. Click on “Clock, Language, and Region”
3. Click on “Regional and Language Options”
4. Click on “Administrative”
5. Click on “Change system locale…”
6. Click the drop-down list for “Current system locale:”
7. Select “Japanese (Japan)”
8. Click “OK”
9. Confirm changes and restart PC.

If Japanese was not in the drop-down list please follow instructions below:
1. Click on “Start” then “Control Panel”
2. Click on “Check for Updates”
3. Click on “View Available Updates”
4. Find “Japanese Language Pack” and install.


The normal way to install games is by mounting, there's a few different tools for that. Daemon Tools is one of the more popular software. But similar software such as Alcohol or DVDiso can work just as well. Brief tutorial for Daemon Tools:
Installing DAEMON Tools

Download DAEMON Tools Lite from vendor website http://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon

1. Install DAEMON Tools
2. Right click DAEMON Tools icon in system tray and select “virtual devices” -> “Device 0″
3. Choose “Mount image”
4. Select image file you want to mount and click “Open”

This is just a general FAQ answering the most common problems that occur, there can be events where you still can't get it working. This is why I encourage people to include an installation guide for the games if it is indeed installed in a different way.

How to install:

- Mount or burn the MuvLuv Extra DVD

How to install: Extract the game from the folder. You can play the game from the folder if you just want it in Japanese. Extract the files from the graphic patch into the folder of the game. The text can come off weird if you're not using Japanese settings. Either change your computer manually to Japanese regional settings or use Microsoft Applocale.
