I was just about to buy a copy of Fate/Extra for PSP when I found out that:

1. Saber is not King Arthur (she is now Nero...). And now she got bigger boobs and another voice actress as a result.

2. Rin is with Lancer.

3. You pick from Saber, Lancer, or Kyuubi(the one in Chinese legends)...

4. Timeline started deviating from regular Nasu-verse since the time of Nasu's first novel(and his latest visual novel) "Witch on a holy night" -1980s...

5. Everything happened in 2030 in a virtual world.

And I was just about to drop my hopes until I saw that:

1. Eastern Heroic Spirits, including many Chinese ones(well...mostly chinese ones) will be present.

2. Hidden boss is Ryougi Shiki.

3. Final boss is Buddha...

4. Arcueid Brunstud makes a appearance as berserker (there are 128 servants).

...Now I am confused, should I get this or not?

Note: I have played/finished all Type-moon visual novels except for the newest one.

I'd say go for it. Saber (Nero) and Saber (Gawain) will give extra dimension to the gameplay and whole lot of freshness to the Fate series. Oh, not to mention they have Vlad and Robin Hood as servants too. And the bonus is Arcueid makes an appearance as a servant.

arent the names just what class they are? like caster from the anime and the caster from the game are way different... my friend tells me the name is just who their class is.

Afaik the class name are used because revealing the real name can also reveal their weaknesses and more information about their ability/weapons.

Anyway, now I am patiently waiting for a Chinese translation before playing since the plot was written by Nasu himself.

Unfortunately he was considered the #3 most powerful in melee weapon fighting.
Should have had some Chinese heroes from sino-japanese war. The one guy who came close to that died before it happened.

If you understands japanese go for it, if you don't you will pretty much space out the whole plot, i have bet the game with Saber (extra mega super f***ing kawai), with archer, and beatting with casters in the momment.
The plot is as good any other TP works, Saber's VA is pretty good and will most likely make you melt. Battle is pretty simple, but if you make a single mistake it can mean gameover, the same goes for some answers you make, care because it can mean a easily dead end.
