Series left adrift

so RPGamer made a list of game series that have been hung out to dry by developers, that deserve a sequel. the link for it being [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I've got to admit that while I don't agree with all of the games they have on there (I haven't even heard of half of them), there are a lot of games/series I would love to see get a sequel, like vagrant story and the world ends with you.

anyone else feel the same way?

Likewise. There's some I would like to see more of. Most of which probably will never and should never happen (Planescape, Ultima). But this was a nice read nonetheless.

Xenosaga, Secret Of Mana, Valkyrie Profile, and Chrono...ESPECIALLY Chrono, deserve sequels =/

Xenosaga should have had sequels, but they wrapped up the storyline with the last game on the ps2.

I wouldn't mind another Dark Cloud those games were good for a good amount of playtime though the whole weapon breaking every couple minutes in a dungeon got a little annoying.

Even though it's not an RPG, the first thing I thought of was Half-life 2. With the way ep2 ended, that was just about the worst possible time to quit. Grrr...

I'd be surprised if they didn't make half life 3 eventually, just give them time.

And Xenosaga.....is a painful subject. They were originally intending to make 6 episodes/games, and since they reduced it to 3 they ended up skipping one games worth of story between 2 and 3, and cramming the rest into episode 3. To be honest my only real complaint with episode 3 was that it had too much story crammed into it.

and also I am waiting for suikoden VI. If they set it in harmonica then I'll buy on release.

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Very Sexy!

There was a prior game based on VtMB (a kinda forgettable one - I've got it in a box packed away somewhere. If it's on CD I will probably load it up if I ever see it again. If it's on magnetic media it's probably broken.).
