The crowded and bustling city centre, full of cars honking as they were caught up in traffic jams miles long, many people were walking along the footpaths, coming in and out of shops and offices, it was rush hour. However, there was an invisible barrier covering most of the city, everything inside the barrier was black and white hue, a magical barrier in a replica city but deserted, there was a torrential downpour going on inside the barriers space.

A cloaked figure, was running through one of the main shopping streets, hood held down so the owners head wouldn’t get wet. The figure was puffing and panting as it ran through the downpour, from one of the tall high rise buildings, a loud crash was heard, a weird distorted shape was walking across it, in pursuit of this little cloaked target. The denizens in the first world didn’t even notice as they carried on there everyday routine, such was the intention of the barrier to protect innocent civilians. The cloaked figure took an abrupt turn into a dirty alleyway. Bad news for the cloaked figure as it came to a dead end, a really high one at that.

The cloaked figure “tch’d” at it’s bad decision and turned round to see if it could get out in time. No such luck as the thing following the cloaked person landed at the only way out. The cloaked figure however, still holding the hood down gave a big confident grin.

“I gotcha” said a girls voice as her other hand went a undid the button holding the cloak round her shoulders, with one big motion the girl threw the cloak into the air with a discharge of electricity engulfing her. She was probably around 15 in age, however she wasn't too well endowed, her long hair was electric green and she wore a Black and white school uniform which she accompanied with a green ribbon round her neck, she was quickly soaked through but now looked as though she didn’t care.

“How does it feel maggot?” She said holding her arms out in front of herself, in a flash of light her ribbon turned into a blue light which reformed in her outstretched hands into a huge spear, the blade was shaped like a raindrop and a mighty big one at that.

The strange shape backed away as she began to walk towards him. Her grin now a confident smile.
“You great lummox” She said “You should have known better than to try and eat me”

She took a stance in which she held the spear to her side, a hand on the lower and upper part of the pole. She let her knees go and ducked down, then she sprung back up into a sprint and charged her obscured opponent. The electricity from her body focused through the pole and electrified the blade at the end. With a sweeping slice for her spear which looked like a line of light, she landed behind her opponent, the blade now sparkling with a few remaining crackles. When they stopped a crash was heard as the thing collapsed to the asphalt, the ground cracked beneath it and it faded away. She closed her eyes as she got up, the spear returning to a blue light which went back round her neck and as the light dispersed, back to her neck ribbon.

“No Purger eats me, Alissa of Tundra” She said as she raised a hand to the sky, everything around her returned to how it was supposed to be with the bustle and car horns of the city. She picked up a backpack and headed for home down the street. Her cloak floated away on the wind in the skies above *To blackout*
