Default Bayonetta or Darksiders? - 01-04-2010, 09:33 PM

Ok I am having a really hard time choosing between these two games. I only have the spare cash to get one of them and they both look pretty epic. I will be playing on a PS3 and have heard Bayonetta might have some long load problems but it still looks to good to turn down. Anyone have any opinion about which game will be the best?

Bayonetta would be my choice. How about you rent the games to try them out?

well i have both...
i think if you want some dungeons ans riddles and also nice boss fights go for the Darksiders (took me 18hrs of playtime)
if you like more the stile of DMC i think you should go for Bayonetta(still haven't finished tho im in the 4th chapter)

I'd go with Darksiders. Boyonetta may be popular but i've read a few comments on gaming websites saying it's a cheesy attempt at DMC with a female main. Darksiders however is supposed to be like GoW and Zelda which sounds pretty damn good.

Saying that, i did play the Bayonetta demo and thought it played OK.

I personally have been anxiously awaiting Bayonetta since I first read about it (back when videogame magazines still existed). I mean, it's made by the same dude that made Resident Evil 2, Okami, and the original DMC. Yes please, give me some of that.

Buuuuuuut.... then I read the technical issues with the PS3 version... and now I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it. Excessive choppiness, and load times for everything... even the menues...

Another slap to the face is that it runs beautifully on the 360. Another example of developers making the game on 360 hardware because it's easier to work with, then simply porting it to the more complicated PS3 hardware.
