The Last of Us

I initially ignored the hype surrounding this game, like any respectable videogame fan should... until I learned that it's the next game by Naughty Dog, the developer responsible for blowing my fucking mind away with the recent Uncharted 3.

Not surprisingly The Last of Us will run on the same engine as Uncharted 3, and anyone that's played it knows that's a good thing. A really, really, really, really good thing.

So I watched the trailer, which is running entirely on a PS3, and I was left wondering... Naughty Dog, why you so nawty?

Looks really good! Wish I could play it. Shooters make me dizzy and make my eyes hurt. Headaches too.

Also, keep in mind that everything is in-game graphics running on the PS3. None of this is CGI cinemas...

And apparently they redesigned Ellie. Though I really don't see much of a change.

Finally, some gameplay footage. I like how this is much more adult oriented than Uncharted.

You would never see something like 4:45 - 5:05 from Nathan Drake. I also read that there's some graphic violence in this game.

You can really see the difference between the games designed for all platforms and the games designed specifically for PS3. 'Cos I'm looking at this and wondering, how the hell did they make it look so good? This might end up being really, really good.
