Default PSN activation limit? - 08-16-2011, 10:52 AM

I read that a PSN account can only be activated on 5 PS3+PSP. I activated my PSN account on a total 3 PSP including my current one. My 1st one is a PSP 2000 and I upgraded to a PSP 3000 but I realize some of the colors are off on the screen so I returned it to the shop and replaced it.

Now my PSP 3000 is activated on my current account. I deactivated my PSN account on both the 2 PSP I threw out, but does using that acocunt on that 2 PSP mean that my current account can only be activated on 2 machine or I can still use it on 4 more?

Also, in case my PSP gets stolen, how do I get them to deactivate them.

You can still use your current account for 4 more PSPs. If your PSP does get stolen, then there's no way to get the person to deactivate them unless they happen to reformat the PSP they stole from you.

Though I'm not sure of this method, you could keep record of your serial number that can be found in the location where you place the battery pack for the PSP, and call Sony up to tell you of the problems and deactivate your account by giving them your serial number.
