Think he does age because ichigo is 99 of the 100 times inside his human body, but not sure ofcourse since his body could act the same as a gagai

This is simply just one of the many plot holes in bleach. If you start scrutinising it in this way, it loses it's enjoyment. I think I remember barragan mentioning that everything ages, even shinigami in the past few episodes.

btw if you want to talk about loop holes how about how ichigo was flipping out every time Ishida killed a hollow because they wouldn't "pass on" if he killed them. Now hes out there spraying them down like bug spray and Ichogo is all for it.

Shinigami do age, but very slowly like 1 year in Soul Society is like 10-20 years in the human world; however, Kubo never confirmed it, so the example can be half-true.

Its obvious what Kubo is doing, so it doesn't take a five year to figure his intention out, and the flashbacks also shows some of the characters being younger like Gin and Byakuya.
