Favourite Captain in Bleach and the Roles of 13 Squads

I know this topic is kind of dumb. However, I would like to share my opinions on the captains as well as the 13 squads in Bleach series.

First of all, my favourite captain is 11th captain, Zaraki Kenpachi. How about yours?

By the way, I want to know the role of all 13 squads respectively. I only know a few of them. Let me list my ideas down. 1st squad-command centre of 13 squads. 2nd squad-assassination. 4th squad-healing and cleaning (XD! Cleaning!). 6th squad-investigation on crimes involving Shinigami or soul reaper. 11th squad-warfare. 12th squad-research and development. 13th squad-controlling number of hollows in human world.

I don't know about the roles of the rest of the squads (3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th squad). Can you correct me or add in the rest of the info? LOLS!

can't tell you about roles of the the squads but my favorite was Ichimaru Gin 3rd squad captain! he was awesome.

one of my favourites is byakuya, just love his bankai, really awesome, but in the episodes to come when more bankais will be revealed then i believe many people will change their opinion on favourite captains,

I respect your choice. I like him too. But, the bad side of him makes me hate him as well. His eyes are always close and that makes him cute. The bad side is that he is the antagonist. Betrayer of 13 squad. XD. No harm done. Thanks to your reply in my thread.

Hey I'm with you too, Kenpachi is my favorite. It's probably because I love his "let's fight/fightings the best/I'm a beast.RAGE" mentality. O btw, if you want to know more about the squads and their roles, head over to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] they got all that info.

While our opinions vary slightly on the roles and I would have to re-watch quite a few episodes of Bleach where the squads are discussed (ok, not really discussed, but their roles are sub-plots), I did come across this:
