I would love to see Unohana in a battle

But what I would really like to know is how they all rate to the zero squad, since only the best captains get elected for that, the captain of the zero squad must be godly.

I think they won't be able to stop aizen somehow, and he is able to open the gateway to the shinigami king and his zero squad without destroying karakura town somehow. Didn't it all start because Aizen got obsessed with the zero squad in the first place? I believe the next arc will be the zero squad arc.

Anyone that knows how powerful Unohana actually is wants to see her kicking ass.

And it seems that her fighting style is kendo, since it says "it is known that her personal speciality is sword fighting, including her particular mastery in the kendō style of fighting"

I'm genuinely surprised that Byakuya is supposed to be that strong.

He always seemed kind of weak to me. He lost against Ichigo after all.

Byakuya's fight against Ichigo shouldn't count, because... it's Ichigo. No matter what, Ichigo will win a fight... he even beat Kenpachi, and that was when he was 200 episodes weaker than he is now- and Kenpachi kicked both Tousen and Komamura's ass at the same time.

And like Darkchao mentioned... if anything, Byakuya let Ichigo "win" or at least left it as a draw because of Rukia. Plus, in that fight, Byakuya had completely underestimated Ichigo's strength and didn't get serious until the second half of the fight.
