Of course, i didnt want it to die, but when it takes 2 months to get 4 entries in(one of which being mine), it ain't going so well. so, this is dead.

Besides losts of entries aren't going to come for this kind of competition anyway...

Just the voting was bad imo, way to little amount of votes were given.

Well, there's always hope. And the objective is sharing stories, really, not winning anything. A contest would just be an encouragement since competing is fun too.

Well, from what I can tell, it worked out like this; by the time you found out, it was over BUT by the time it started, it was already dead.

If you guys wanna set a competition up I can moderate it for you or whatever? I've read a couple of the things on here and they're really good. Maybe give the members a week or two to write something? Or even allow work that has been written earlier to be used

it'd be a shame to waste the talent on here.

yeah, not right at the moment, but i'll help out later...

kuro, a week's a little too short, esp. with people getting back to school and things
around a month [or even two] would be okay, since there's also the constraint of it being a short story
i have to finish writing one now in like 2 days for my writer's craft course, and it's a bitch and a half X_x ...

incredibly easily, i could start this up again. But, i am afraid that if i did, it would be a repeat of last time where excitement is high, and entry rate is low.

if you want me to start this up again, then give me a say so.

BUT, it will remain the SSOTM, because a week is NOT NEAR long enough for how much attention this sub-forum gets, in relation to the others.

i will probably restart with the same rules, as last time as well.

next sunday, the 13th, i will revive the SSOTM, in the form of SSOTm #2 due to recent pleas to get it started up again.

if anyone wants to start working on their papers right now, i will be using the same theme and and rules and such as SSOTM #1(due to the long abscense of any SSOTMs) hah hah
