it'd be interesting to read your previous entries and try to guess the reason for your detailed style, it may take me forever though

^ ok... well... umm... that was the best thing I've ever read... even though I'm a high achieving student of English Literature (I've read many famous works.)

I've always believed that the art of detailed description is mean for a selected few, cuz it's a mixture of two contrary things, which are thought and emotion. that is to say, detailed description requires someone whose thoughts and emotions are in a state of complete harmony, and these people are rarely found. one might argue that this "state of harmony between thought and emotions" is what we call "inspiration," and I have nothing to say against that, as long as this person realizes how rare inspiration really is.

I liked the way you presented the Midsummer and Winter flowers, it had me put a weird smile on my face.

you have the mentality of a movie director btw. and you should try to have this story published somewhere...

Arnold Bennett, that poor excuse for a writer whom everybody worships, is actually "famous for his descriptive abilities." but he can't even compare to you in any way... you could make a career of this if you put your mind into it.

Thanks for your praise. You want me to reread my own work! That was only half or so of that particular piece as I thought I better draw a line somewhere... maybe I should post the whole at some point.

I dunno about writing, I never thought I could quite cut it in that field. Although, it's something I do enjoy. I wish I had more time. But time is like grains of sand that just slip through my fingers, leaving but a trace and even that is swept away by the wind. -sigh-

well... if you stubbornly close your hand, then you might be able to preserve some

I would take the whole writing stuff more seriously if I were you. if it's of any encouragement, I know a certain someone who's working 10 hours a day, studying like a geek, and writing 3 GREAT novels simultaneously. though it's only possible cuz he works in an internet cafe so he can always multitask...

there are few worthy things in this world, fiction is indeed the best of them imo (maybe cuz it's not really 'in this world')

There's far too many things I wanna do in this world and I can hardly even do 20% of that. But you know I have this dream of actually starting writting something and actually finishing it to the end. One day, one day.

I was wondering why the entry thread is closed and a voting thread hasn't been created yet. not that people would vote anyway (could it be that you're planning to hide our shame?)

come on people, write!

*goes to re-watch Nichijou*

Yeah, was planning on putting up that voting thread and then I was like ... people want to read a continuation on my story. And closed the thread, but didn't put the voting thread up.

But now I'll put the voting thread up and will post that continuation in a separate thread some time later. ;D
