Thats what you get for taking 3 yrs away from them.
I wrote this on my flight back.

The sun has long gone to sleep in Addis when we arrived. In my tipsy stupor (Oh yes, the Vampress doesn’t like flying sober), I asked for a smoker’s section but even my Olympic efforts were shot down faster than a fighter jet in WWII ,not to mention that I have just discovered one of the Movie Library DVD’S my sister said wasn’t in the laptop was in. And to add more damage to injury, it’s something I wouldn’t watch on a regular basis. Le’ sigh.…..bring on the annual fine. However not all of my trip back to humid, bustling Malaysia is fruitless.

The one thing I love about business class is that the stewards usually address you formally like you’re an important person ( Well, we don’t pay them $3000 to be called by our first names, do we? If I could insert a wink here, I would.) and to supplement that delectable detail, they are way hotter than the ones in the economy section.
As I survive on nicotine gum which is doing a good job of craving my need for a cancer stick, I long to talk to my mum. Oh yes, as the annual tradition goes….she riled me about everything from what I had packed to what I was wearing ( Isn’t a long skirt decent enough, mum?). My nonchalant father had already said his matter-of-fact goodbyes in the morn. I know he loves me, anyway. My younger sis refused to hug me for an extended period of time citing endearment irregularities….come to think of it, the only endearing thing I received was a kiss on the cheek from my black listed cousin whom I still adore. Why Black-listed? Another complicated twist of fate involving false accusations that I’m not keen in getting involved with because we are supposed to be talking about the hot steward(another wink inserted here for effect). Well, his name is Marvin, you could mistake him for being a Ugandan but his British accent gives him away as a polished lad, well who am I to decide, he could be from the tough streets of London as I know it (just for clarification, are there tough streets in London?). Since stewards don’t get to know their “clientele” any further than business matters, I will leave the rest up to you to decide.

Oh,its already time to go? On to Dubai then.

I'll tell on you, Nygus! Winking at people besides your boo.
Funny scribble though. You took your flight from Addis?

Addis is just a transit stop. Blame it on the champagne he kept pouring me.

A mosaic of translucent symbols floated in mid air. Vanteya stared long and hard, hoping she had finally gotten them right.

"You better have, or else Bazela will feed you to some hideous creature.
I imagine even you will taste good to a nagi
" came a voice unbidden.

Shrugging off a trickle of doubt with feigned indifference, she started to chant. Lost in a rhythm of her invocation, Vant never noticed the sigils acquire a bluish tinge. Rapidly now shifting hues, midnight black, lusty sable, dawn orange, golden yellow, lover's blue glinting, silvery moonlight giving them an otherworldly tint.

The hum of her words slowly weaved the power to wreak her will into the luminescent signs and as her voice faded out the unnatural glow began to sting her closed eyelids. She forced them open for the daughter of Abvore was not one to cow. Nothing, however, prepared her for the sight before her eyes...

Note - Vanteya is actually the name of a xter so don't assume it's role-play
