In a place I cannot be seen There's no other place to hide I hear nothing but a song A song I recognize But, from where? That's my one question I cannot think I'm obsessed But can I be obsessed?... When my mind isn't working? Can I be obsessed while I'm... sleeping? |

Asleep
I'm asleep. Somewhere dark... I can't be seen. Nowhere else, can I be hidden. I hear only one thing, a melody. A melody I recognize... But where does it come from? That is my only question. I can't ponder about it... I'm infatuated. How can I be infatuated? When my thoughts are gone? I'm new here, and I thought I should start a new theread if I wanted to post some work. Thank you for letting me know there is a Poetry thread xD By the way, did you use the word asleep with the sense of dead? You may not answer, If you want, and maintain my curiosity that way
