Absolutely love to read; one of my recent favourites is Papillon by Henri Charriere.

Oh hey, theres a book thread. Dont mind if I do.

Ive got one book series to recommend at this time, mainly because I am one book out from finishing the 3 books currently out for it. The series (used to be a trilogy) was called Monster Blood Tattoo' but has recently been changed to Foundling's Tale (not reflected on the wiki page though).

To put it simply, the world built in the books is extremely well built, and is sometimes overwhelmingly so. The book falls under the Young Adult section, but the word usage is easily beyond what I would have been reading when I was 13~15. Words such as duodecimo are found commonly within the books.

I highly recommend reading them if you are into fantasy books that delve plentiful into the world building side of writing.

The best of the best, has got to be English literature. I like reading plays, and I recommend Ben Jhonson's The Alchemist, but it's really hard to understand because of the linguistic evolution between then and now:even English people have hard time reading it. You may also read "Joseph Andrews" by Henry Fielding, the whole book set I mean. It's a tale about virtue, chastity, and many other concepts. While the plot is not that significant, the comments and arguments made by the characters regarding it are splendid

A literature thread! Ò_Ó awesome!

I recommend reading the books "South of the border, west of the sun" by Haruki Murakami, or "The Royal Game" by Stefan Zweig; Both are on my list of favorite books. Haruki Murakami is, by far, my favorite author; God, I wish I could read Japanese just so that I could re-read his books again.

The answer is dreams. Dreaming on and on. Entering the world of dreams and never coming out. Living in dreams for the rest of time. - Haruki Murakami

I love to read. I read anything thats interesting. I recommend the Maximum Ride Series and The Womens Murder Club by James Patterson. Also The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. ^.^ Now I'm into paranormal romance. The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward and The Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon are pretty awesome.

Mmm, I read the Farseer, Liveship and The Tawny Man trilogies. There's also Rain Wilds series from the same world... I should really get around to reading that.

Tawney Man! That was the name of the trilogy lol...
And yeah those books have recently came out havn't they, i'd advise against reading the soldier son trilogy though...it's nothing like Robins usual work, it takes a long time to get going and i found it really boring xD
...but then again you may like it...
