Default Of loads of crap and axes sharp - 03-12-2011, 10:42 PM

This was actually a reply of mine in some idiotic thread years and years ago. Pretty spontaneous and completely random, apart from the fact that load of crap was the title of the thread and there was something about axes in the thread as well. (yes I found it in the same drawer again along with some other stuff)

Of load of crap and axes sharp

Forever more, forever here,
The one who watches over,
When day grows dark,
And light grows dim.

He seeks and finds to his suprise,
A war within a realm of wonder!
A war of words, a war of wit,
A war between a Legend and a Wayfarer.

Of load of crap, of axes sharp,
They tirelessly wrote, a word, a verse,
One after one and more and MORE,
Until he came along.

He looked around and listened hard,
Only to lose it all and laugh out loud,
Lord Thazer's grin, forever cold.
Lord Thazer's voice, forever dry.

Who speaks of load of crap and axes sharp?
Why are they here, now today,
Of all the times they could have come,
They picked the worst indeed.

Am I forgotten, a myth perhaps?
A myth that comes alive today,
To find him beloved realm at war,
A war of words and wit!

What I am doing back in here,
Why am I here, between a Legend and a Wayfarer,
Two fools that dared to disturb my rest,
A Legend Dimmed and Wayfarer Lost.

So run along, away from here,
Into the forest of forgettness,
Into the void, where from I came,
Into my load of crap, and axes sharp.

A warning now, to you my friends,
Play not with things that sharp and smelly,
For if you do, know this, my friends,
You'll end up in the bag of crap and axes sharp.

And so he turns and fades away,
As if he never been here,
Forever more, forever here,
The one who watches over.

This was interesting. I liked the words you use and it gives off a nice aurora to it, but honestly I'm having trouble figuring out what this was exactly about. I did really like the beginning, though. I felt as if i could see the words appearing out of no where onto the forums. Then later i started feeling like i was in world of war craft or something similar to that.

Thank Jaks for the Sig

Let's say...1 thread, 2 trolls and me mentioned in it. At a time I felt random and a mere /facepalm wasn't good enough for me.

Wink Nice Story - 03-13-2011, 02:24 AM

So the drawer is still hiding some treasure after all. Nice job and this poem is both a story and a poem. Most importantly the lesson at the end. I won't be in or between a war of loads of crap and axes myself.

I like the ending with mystery in it:

And so he turns and fades away,
As if he never been here,
Forever more, forever here,
The one who watches over.

Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more of your works.

I understood the facepalm intent from the get-go and I laughed the entire time I read this. It's like a verbal bitchsmack in poem form to cut down any hope of response from those feeble-minded twelve-year olds with back disorders.

Major props for making me laugh.

Thazer was my name on that particular forum. And he's also a recurring character in some of my other work.

I also found a bizarre short story in it... god knows when I wrote that.
