Haha, Kuwait flag. The national day holidays just got over today. It's not about the inspiration, I guess I'm just not a poet. I've never been able to write good poems, everrr.

Just like I won't be able to draw anything ever...well...maybe if I...try... hard enough.

Actually for me it's all about inspiration. No inspiration, no words coming out of my mind. And my inspiration is extremely fickle, that's why I been writing that SSOTM for a about 3 months now.

Oh another thing that makes me write is stress... I remember when I was waiting to give my final year project presentation, I just took out a A4 piece of paper and filled it in with random poetic nonsense to calm myself down. (now I wonder if I saved it or not? xD

Hahaha, drawing is way easier than writing. I believe in one thing, which is what I always tell my students in class (to encourage them) that art cannot be judged and that it doesn't have to be perfect. As long as you enjoy it, that's what matters.

Why don't you do something that may inspire you? Read books, watch movies, have discussions with people or something? That may help.

Anddd, stress makes me go insane. I'm not that good at dealing with stress. I keep bottling it up until I can just not take it anymore and burst like a ballloon. T-T It's good that you can cope with it by writing.

It is? Out of all art based forms of expression, it's probably my weakest. Although, I do lack practice... but where to get the time?

I do plenty of that. My inspiration is like a pendulum swinging. It's either too far away or it's there within my grasp. Then again I can hold on to the inspiration for a long period of time as long as I don't let go. (as in keep writing non stop )

It's like the say, practice makes perfect.

I lose interest in things after a while. At one point I was so into writing about daily life stuff and now I barely care about what happens everyday. xD
