So I realized that this thread is starting to get a wee lil bit of life back again. Time to get the ball(s) rolling(jiggling). lol

Something I wrote during the long distance relationship.


In sleepless nights, I yearn for you
Such dreaded longings, I dream of you
All of my feelings, they pour right through
As I lay on my bed, thinking of you

Your kisses so sweet, which melts my heart
Your touch so tender, I faint in your arms
Your caress so loving, with movements like art
Your whispers so soft, I float in your charms

The moon is bright, and I lay thinking of you
Imagining the things that we used to do
The moments we shared and the dreams we flew
It all seems so far, while I lay askew

Emotions in my heart makes me cry
As I ponder upon memories we've shared in our lives
The happiness makes me a lucky guy
While the sorrows fill my heart with guilt and knives

It's been far too long, my dear
That I've held you close and gave you a cheer
And as the days that come draws near
I wish these distance would soon dissapear

I've been away for far too long,
So very far from my love, my darling you
I've sung this tune, too sad for a song
To prove that my love for you is true

And as I lay here right now, thinking of you
I look upon the stars, and promise you this
Never a distance shall separate us again, this much is true
And my love for you eternal, sealed with a kiss

Gods I hate traffic. YES, I have a new love in my life.... And coincidentally she has been the personification of my muse for the past 2 years.... Her name is Hatsune Miku lol.

Thanks, and yes spectre456 I didn't really like that part, still don't like it, but I was halfway through the whole thing when it started to bug me so I didn't bother reworking it.

What else can you rhyme with 'you'? lets make a list:

-hue, dew, lieu, cue, queue, few, askew, okay I give up time for teatime lazing around before boss comes back

this is a nice poem
