Cinnamon Cake.

Sunny day, in the university, walking around my lost dreams, and my dreams of lost dreams. Everything was a lie, actually, but the moment was real. And what was the moment?

At first, I did not expect reality to be so unreal. I knew where paradise was, and I was there, but I did not feel like being there. I felt disconnected, as if I was diving into a world of plain facts, nothing more. Everything turned blue, but I couldn't see it.

There I was, in a world of pure facts, nothing more. People were all around the place, but I was alone. I looked at the palm tree that was outside, it was dancing with the wind. I grabbed my cup of coffee, and drank a bit. It was delicious, it was real coffee. People noticed me, but I didn't notice them, since I was drinking my cup of coffee. Even though, I felt like air; and I knew they were not made of air. Some of them bought orange juice, some other bought coke, and some other bought other drinks. I grabbed my cup again, but did not drink, since I was staring at the palm tree. I closed my eyes, and put the cup back on the table. I ate a piece of the cinnamon cake I bought with my coffee. It was good, but I've tasted better. And it was then, right then, that reality went back to what it was a while ago. Every lie disappeared, and I stopped being made of air. Suddenly, I noticed everybody, like they were noticing me. And you were there. We didn't knew each other. I liked your black eyes, but you ignored me. Suddenly, I realized that I had the cup of coffee in my hands, and that I was spilling it all over myself. That's how I knew, then, that I was not going to get laid that night.
