Hey guys, just a random thought and sorry if a similar thread already exists...

So just like the title says, Which anime characters would you like to have as real life friends? Doesn't matter if they have powers or not. Although, that would be awesome.

Okay I'll start with a person first:
Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma
(because I'm watching it again) His relaxed personality makes me laugh and I would so want a friend who could fly me around! (I wish)

Hmm. Lots of good choices, but it's all in good fun so here I go; I may leave out a few(hundred):

Kamina from TTGL. He'd inspire me to believe in myself even when I can't find the strength.

L from Death Note. Crazy Smart, loves sweets. Good friend to hang around.

Shiki Ryougi from Kara No Kyoukai. Sure, she may be a little crazy in the head, but she's an awesome friend and she has the mystic eyes of death perception. Lets see anyone try kick your ass while she's around. /cough.

Maeda Keiji from Sengoku Basara. He just wants everyone to get along and have fun together, laugh together, and cry together. A man like that can't be all bad, plus he's an interesting fellow.

Goro Shigeno from MAJOR. Who doesn't love the lovable idiot, always putting his own body on the line every season for his friends and his love of baseball. I'd like to be a supporting pillar on his way to success. He's a cool dude.

Mr.Chang, Chinese Triad - Black Lagoon. I'd work under him and beside him as a friend anyday. He's that badass. I don't recall any other anime character GAR enough to be smoking, dual wielding pistols, and to foot stop a grenade and kick it back. I'd tattoo myself for the triad right then and there.

Isaac and Miria - Baccano! - The truly weird robber combo, so happy all the time, always having fun. I could see some fun times from hanging out with them!

Kaiji from Kaiji. Willing to put his body on the line for what he believes in, even if he knows the situation is sometimes hopeless. A true man.

And finally..

Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss. Loyal, smart, super strong.. caring. All of these make him an excellent choice, and the fact that he's a genius helps as well. It'd be nice to hold intellectual conversations with someone advanced in mystic artes.

Kaede Mizuno as the hyperactive playful character.
Shichijou Aria as -wait, that doesn't fit the generous harem- another girl.
Kanzaki Miyu as the loli- no wait, she's got a huge rack which is awesome.
And Himeji Mizuki cause she's <33

are we talking about the same Jade? Arrogant, sarcastic, a know it all who enjoys tormenting that guy who sits in a chair (I forget his name).

still a pretty cool guy though. Just not someone I'd like as a friend.

The guy in the chair is Saphir, his childhood friend that turns bad guy, so he has reason to torment him. Yes, he's arrogant when the time calls for it, but he's a softie, watch the series. He's good friend material. <3 Tales of the Abyss.
