K-On! is coming to end!!

Okay, according to the latest issue of Manga Time both the "K-On!" managa and anime are apparently due to end in September

The latest issue of Managa Time, where the original manga is still being serialised, reports that "the next instalment will be the finale!", while another page informs readers that "both the anime and manga are to climax!"

P.S imo I think there won't be another anime or manga continuation... since it would have to be either university setting or remake (which it won't work well as you know -_-)
Anyway finally: K-On! over = "moe blobs" over

-IMO...
though, I don't hate the series (I like the manga) except, the fact that the series is being too much "overrated" by majority of otakus...

I can't seem them continuing it. It would be pretty hard to come up with a plausible story line to have the group stay together....then again it's a moe blob. It's too soon for a remake, and I'm not sure if a new cast would sit well. Trying to continue the story would just seem silly.

Oh well, I enjoyed it.

I don't mind it coming to an end. It's been fun and I don't need another season. The only thing I still need is a good ending with good K-ON music.

As one user on Sankaku wrote a couple of days back already, it would be a major marketing fail if they decide to drop K-On!. They are still making so much money from the series and the merchandise they sell.

There'll probably be some sort of next season or sequel or spin-off of some sorts. Even if it is less popular than the current K-On! it will still be popular enough to make a good profit if you ask me.

mmm, i never did go beyond ep 1 for season 2. somehow, i feel it did not have the appeal of season 1. I dunno, but did it get better after that? just my thoughts anyways, no harm intended to anyone~
