It has been leaked, the first ep was actually meant to air on the 14 of april.

yeah, i watched it and i gotta say it was pretty good. Its kinda sad how the people don't respect the avatar as much now.

Avatar is not an anime lol. Anime is defined as an animation originating in Japan, as stated in this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Avatar was created in the U.S. and therefore does not fall under the category. This also explains why you will not find it in MAL's database. And yes, imo it is one of the best non anime cartoons I've ever seen and is comparable to anime, but it does not meet the requirements to be considered one.

And I can definitely say for sure I will be looking forward to this series! Avatar was awesome.
