Well, what do you think? Should popular anime series/movies be made into Live-Action USA movies?

I think no.

I have nothing against JPN Live-action sequels/prequels/adaptations, but i think that the american movie companies just don't know how to do it, blindly chasing profits...

I didn't even watch DB : Evolution...

Also, please explain your vote..

Oh well, to answer your question, it depends.

I believe that if the creator of a an anime series or manga were brought in and asked input and such, then it might turn out decent. But a good director, actors, and money should all be key as well. I honestly cannot think of a good movie but I do hope that the Bleach movie, or the supposed Evangelion movie turn out good since I can see them being made properly by an American studio; In terms of CGI and whatever other special effects would have to go into them.

The basic formula is this.
Creators input + Good Acting + Good Director + Decent enough amount of money = A decent movie.

Oh yeah, and stick to the storyline (DB Evolution im looking at you!)

no cause why would you try to change something that's already good like trying to make games into movies they can never stay true to the anime and hardcore fans will be disappointed.

Standard Live Action is bad enough as is [yes yes, haters gonna hate] and certainly doesn't need to be tainted by Western cinema.

are you kidding me.. if you wanna watch some bad anime from the USA look at the hobbit.. its an old one but the drawings are crappy and such.. I would only let USA make anime if it were done by the japanesse.. like they opened a company here to make it.
