erm... you are talking about the song that starts at about 19:00 in episode 1, right?
Because this is definitely "Tsubasa o Kudasai". I just rewatched the episode to be sure. ![]() There might be some variations, but the main-theme of the song is still the same. Seems to be an old japanese folk-song or something. French chorus doing a cover: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Another Version (main theme starts @ 0:57): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] And the rock-version (main theme starts again @ 0:50): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

k-on will not appeal to musicians, cos yui will frustrate any musician as she is kind of ignorant.eg. The creators made her a klutz character that's ok but it should have stopped whenever her guitar was involved cos how can she say she loves her instrument when she did not bother to find out anything about it?eg.maintenance,rusty strings..the creators should have clearly shown a difference in character whenever music was involved,where's the passion? and oh the music is very generic not to mention the horrible lyrics
