Good anime. just finnished watching it nice story and all that but was dissapointed that kamina would die so early in the storyline.

8/10 in my opinion.

my ratings are based of tits, number of episodes,storyline and characters and the comedy scenes. thou there was not much comedy after kamina died and it became all serious and stuff.

I see. I finished watching it about a month ago, and I gave it a 10/10, and I'm still convincing it deserves it.
The plot never bore me, and it had an epic finale.
The main characters were lovely, but I thought there were too many side characters added in too suddenly.
I think if Kamina had been around more time, some viewers might have gotten bored of it. The way they did it made Kamina seem like a legend.

I was hesitant to watch it because I'm not too fond of mecha anime, but this one was just awesome.
I didn't put too much attention to Yoko, and I am not sure how I started loving her midway through the series without much screen time given to her. I loved her by the end of the show ;_;
Oh but that doesn't mean I leave Nia behind. <3

Lastly, some of the references I could catch were pretty amusing (Spongebob lmao), too bad most of them were related to anime I had never watched...

Watched it a few months ago, the first 2/3 was good, but WTF is w/ that last part and the ending? 8/10 for me

BTW don't forget the 5 min lucky star OVA (especially if you love Yoko)
(although the song will get stuck in your head)

i still feel discontent seeing as how Yoko love Kamina instead of Simon ... it breaks my heart as if i'm Simon himself .. and later the weird development of Yoko and Kittan .. eww .
still nice story though . btw, i just finished wathching this anime yesterday lolz .

this was definitely one of the best anime i have ever seen, i liked its animation, it had a unique storyline, the background music was really good so this made the fights and in general the whole story better, kamina's death was probably the most shocking part of the story since i would never expect him to die in the anime but it seems it was necessary for simon to progress. the only thing i am a bit dissapointed about is the ending, i would prefer something better for simon and nia

Innit bruv? decent animes need lots of threads. btw i liked the pause scenes alot i think if the anime had been made in that art it would have kicked even more ass =P

one of the few remaining modern super robo anime to make it to the US and one of the best TV animes to hit US shores.

it's heavily influenced by other super robo anime from the past, hell, it almost rips straight from a few older ones, but manages to make a compelling and motivating theme as well as keep the narrative consistent and constantly amusing or enthralling.

top-class super robo featuring nobuyuki hiyama as viral. that's enough to bring a tear to my eye and a roar to my heart.

You know there's a thread "Rate the last anime you watched" right in this forum.

Nevertheless the anime was pretty good, didn't really like most of the 1st half though but then things happened it became whole lot more interesting. I also liked whole whole spiral thematic. The ending was rather sad but its one of the things that made TTGL good.
