I just finished second raid yesterday and was wondering since there isnt another anime is there a manga that continues the story because there was alot left unexplained in the ending.

uh... kinda. its not a manga but pretty much a collection of novels with some pictures sprinkled in. There are some that are out in bookstores in america (the first three as far as i know atm, which covers the arcs in the first season of FMP) however the meat of the story (stuff after TSR, believe me, it gets even better) u need to find online. (i dont have the links as i recently reloaded my OS

but there are a few translated versions out there, its just a bit hard to find)

Full Metal Panic the anime itself was adapted from the light novel series of the same name.If you want continuity you can download and read the English translated novels here-

There is a manga based on the FMP series but I believe they stopped scantalating it.

Full Metal Panic is originally a light novel series, so you could read them, there is also a manga adaption callad Full Metal Panic! Σ that covers the second raid and some events after it, so I guess that's you best bet.

I beleive the final novel is yet to be translated. So one more to go and that wraps up the series
