HELLSING: The Abridged Series
(Audition deadline: April 20th)

Hello, all! I'm currently looking for voice actors to work on an abridged anime series.

The series I'm planning to abridge is Hellsing. It's been abridged before––twice that I know of––but in horrible quality with bad editing and no sound effects. I'm an experienced editor, so all of that stuff will be taken care of. All I need are the actors, and maybe people willing to help write. AUDITION DETAILS BELOW.

Here are the parts I'm looking for (for now!), with their descriptions for THIS series included. Note to all: try it with both a British and American accent.

THE INCLUDED SAMPLES OF DIALOGUE WILL MOST LIKELY BE HIGHLY EDITED OR CUT FROM THE FIRST EPISODE. BUT USE THEM FOR YOUR AUDITIONS.

ALUCARD

Male. Baritone/Bass. A powerful vampire. He's been enslaved by the Hellsing organization for a hundred years and is extremely bored and annoyed that he's always doing the Hellsing Organization's dirty work.

**Alucard is supposed to be fairly casual in this version. Read the lines like an average pissed off guy, with maybe a teensy bit of vampire thrown in. He's not supposed to be quite as much of a monster in this version. Think of Church from Red vs. Blue.**

SAMPLE DIALOGUE: ("Who is that?") Oh, this is my new bitch. She's gonna handle some of my workload from now on. ("I authorized no such thing!") You know what? Cry me a f*cking river. I've been a slave to the Hellsing organization for a hundred years and whenever any little problem pops up, your solution is always "Alucard, go kill it"! Well, I've had it! I think it's about time I got a little f*cking respect!" lucard, wash my dishes! Alucard, rub my feet! I mean, I have wants, I have needs, I have issues, but does anyone ever come to me and say, "Alucard, do you have a problem?" No, it's always just "ME! ME! ME! ME!"!

SERAS VICTORIA


Female. Soprano. A police officer who gets drawn into a vampire hunt. She's kind, but extremely dim-witted and obnoxiously voiced.

SAMPLE DIALOGUE: Ahh! A zombie!

(Running away) Ohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrap...oh, thank goodness! A creepy church next to a cemetery! The perfect place to hide from the undead!...

...That's the vampire! Strike him down with the power of Christ!...

PRIEST


Male. Tenor/Baritone. An immature priest obsessed with Bella from Twilight. He doesn't know a whole lot about being a vampire, and is very insecure.

SAMPLE DIALOGUE: Hey! Those books hold deep sentimental value with me! One day, I'm going to find Bella, kill Edward, and take her as my own wife!...

...Shut up! Look, man, don't take what I said personally! I actually really dig the detective outfit! In fact, you could be the star of a TV show I'm pitching to FOX!

INTEGRA


Female. Alto/Tenor. Head of Hellsing Organization. An upper-class British socialite who thinks she's better than everyone. She's Alucard's master and enjoys bossing him around.

(She only appears briefly in the first episode, so you can audition with dialogue other than what's written here.)

SAMPLE DIALOGUE: Alucard, where have you been? We've got a situation in the––who is that?

I authorized no such thing!

(Other typical high-class british snobby lines.)
