Synopsis :
Around 10 yeras after World War II, a group of delinquents are sent to the Shōnan Special Reform School and must learn to cope with the atrocities and unfairness they encounter there. A student that had already been residing there when the teens arrived acts as a mentor, teaching them about friendship and guiding them through difficulties.

Watched it today and it was really really good. Episode 1 was at first really dark and depressive and at the end it was a bit more hopefull.

Especially the cigarette scene was beautiful!

Haha, well thats questionable, but the build-up of the scene was great with the guitar building up until the last boy smokes that cigarette.

yeah, a wow that was a big file DL right? sweeet. Well the show seems to be setting a plot or story so I will continue to watch it. Its nice to see animes other than school related or 12 year old theme. I guess i favor non-schoolish shows. But the rainbow title, might have come up with a better one. oh well, im a watching not a writer so i'll keep that to myself.

I think Rainbow refers to hope. Its completely the opposite indeed, but i think its a good name for people to remember for a long and long time.

I downloaded the Frozen file. The commie was too big LOL!

Really loved the first episode. To tell you the truth I thought it'd be more explicit but then again this just started~
Definitely one of the best shows this season.

Haven't seen it yet but I hear one of the voice actor's Oguri Shun.Expect a lot of fangirls to go kyaaaa over his voice.

i like the artwork, directing, narration anyways... story looks like it could be entertaining. ill be watching this.

**the reason RAINBOW is the name of the show is revealed in the opening scene. its pretty fitting actually.
