Viz Media announced that it had acquired the television anime series at Comic-Con International last July. The Sunrise anime studio adapted Yellow Tanabe's Kekkaishi manga into 52 episodes from 2006 to 2008.

The story follows Yoshimori Sumimura, a 14-year-old junior high school boy who is the 22nd Kekkaishi — barrier master — of the Sumimura clan. As Kekkaishi, Sumimura and his rival Tokine Yukimura protect the land from supernatural beasts.

The original manga has been running in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since 2003, and Viz will publish the 21st of the 28 current manga volumes in May. Viz has also been streaming the English-subtitled version of the anime on the Hulu website since January.
So much for my Soul Eater theory as the second anime.

Hopefully I'm still right about InuYasha: The Final Act being the third anime though.

Believe it or not, not everyone is an anime elitist like you.

The 4am time is rather bad though. That much, anyone can agree on.

Animetake: Now with more weeaboo elitism!

It's a pretty ok anime. If you like shounen that is. The end is pretty epic and the bad guy is awesome. Really awesome. Just how a bad guy should be in my opinion. But to watch it on TV?... Nah. Download.

As a whole Adult Swim hasn't really impressed me since "Code Geass" left. I am glad they still do "Bleach" - I read somewhere that new episodes are coming in July 2010 for it.

I wish they'd do "Magical Index" or "Scientific Railgun" or even dub the second season of "Shakugan No Shana". Even showing "Genshiken" season 1 & 2 would be fun.

The 4am time block is hardly an issue when you have a DVR, and what self respecting cable tv subscribing American doesn't have a DVR by now? I haven't watched "live" tv outside of the occasional football game in over 5 years. Everything I care to watch is recorded for convient viewing on my schedule.

Speaking of Cartoon Network though, am I the only one who misses the good old days of CN, back when they still had their Toonami line up? Between Toonami and Toonami Late Night(which eventually became Adult Swim) CN was an anime paradise, sure it was all dubs, but hey it was free, and it was back in the day when fansubbing meant passing out bootleg VHS tapes at your local college anime club.

back in the day...

nowadays i often turn on cartoon network late at night for some anime before i sleep... and i find king of the hill or inuyasha instead =_=''

i think... even if they had an impressive lineup, i still wouldnt watch though. fansubbing network has destroyed any need (and want for that matter) for an anime channel.
