What is the anime that a person must have watched to be able to rightly call themselfs an otaku / animefan?
This ish in this section because I ish using it as a suggestion thingy for animes I suld watch... or something like that... good enough excuse?? yeah I thought so... yeah... mmmhhmmm... yeah and stuff so ... IN UR FACE Iguana8!! RAWR!!

I was thinking along the lines of Death note/codegeass/elfen lied/gundam/neon/higurashi no naku koro ni.... but I can't decide on one... so yeah.... .... ..... ... .mmhmm

NGE, I'm sorry but if you havent even seen this, you are not an anime fan at all. It may have a whiny lil bitch but it is still an all time must see.

If its just to be an anime fan then I agree NGE is pretty much the definition
