Clannad, Blue Drop, Ghost Hound, Tears to Tiara Get Dubs

The North American anime distributor Sentai Filmworks has announced that it will release English dubs for the Clannad, Blue Drop, Ghost Hound, Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story, and Tears to Tiara anime series. Seraphim Digital, the company formed from the assets of A.D. Vision's Amusement Park Media dubbing outfit, is overseeing the dubbing process with veteran ADR directors such as Steven Foster.

Sentai Filmworks will offer an "Upgrade" program to those who already bought the subtitle-only versions of these anime titles. According to Sentai Filmworks, these releases will also be available "through broadcast, streaming and retail outlets."

As I can see that clannad is getting a blu-ray release in april I can see some encoders will do a dual audio version of this hopefully!

the main point is that I'm looking forward to seeing clannad in dub, but since I haven't seen any of the other shows...

Also while talking about dubbed anime:

I heard rumors that toradora might be coming out in dub, if someone can confirm this that would be great!

I'll keep up with dubbed anime news if I can be bothered to, but anyway enjoy!

Dubs always ruin anime. seiyuu's voice is maybe most important part in anime. After plot, of course.

ive never even heard of blue drop either.

clannad and maybe ghost hound can be some big sellers though, good on them there. although ghost hound is probably too... bizarre...

I have the subbed only versions of Clannad and After Story on DVD. You mean I can "upgrade" to a dubbed version also? Really? That's so... not awesome. Pass. I'll keep my subbed only versions

I wonder how much this will jack up the price or how many years it'll take to be released.
