No idea if you were really :<

It's very hard to judge through typing, when you can't hear the tone of voice, or facial expression, body language and etc. It's just very misleading and often becomes confusing. Just please refrain from doing it outside the void

I'll admit some parts were kinda unnecessary and I edited those out

I wonder how much this will jack up the price or how many years it'll take to be released.
It shouldn't be too much... On most of these type of things I've seen they usually only want you to pay for the discs and shipping. Usually it's like $1 for the disc and $1.50 shipping.

I'm just glad I waited.

I also find it amusing that people put the Japanese cast on such a high pedestal when most of the actors treat anime as a part time job. I've seen so many interviews in which the actors never even watched the shows they were in. In the School Rumble extras everyone in the cast was asked what their favorite part of the show was, and half of them answered that they never even watched it. I seem to recall when they asked Yui Horie that question she laughed and said she doesn't watch anime at all.

If done well I'll watch it either way.

The only concern I have with the CLANNAD dub is that I don't think they can find someone to do Akio justice. Everyone else is do able by current actors, but the only person I can think of with the right personality for Akio is Robin Williams, and I doubt Sentai would even think of paying the kind of money he would want.

There goes other good anime ! I hope that the time to chose good voice actors was taken for clannad half the job of telling any story is the voice actors ability to pull off the charactor they are preforming I have see alot of good anime made crapy with poor actors having a an emotional moment ruined by some one who sounds like Gomer Pile

Tomoyo + Tomoya are kinda decent, but you dont want to pain your ears hearing Sunohara.

Oh god no, thats just bad, really really bad, like, "Icebergs? This is the Titanic, we don't care about no stinkin' icebergs!" bad. And no, I'm not a dub hater. -_-;

Also since the thread starter asked and maybe some others are interested, it appears the upcoming release of Toradora will not be dubbed, the official website only states original Japanese audio with english subs.
