Here I will be putting up and talking about the HD anime encodes and pointing out the encoders Here's the list of the ones I've got so far:

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: one of the most well known ones that everyone should know of... thou they haven't updated at all recently (really hope they haven't stopped)

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: To me this is the closest you'll get to being Thoranime's rival, doing well but dropping shows so easily is to me a problem, but hell at least they do good stuff

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: Only know these guys from Cman, from looking at the site I think they base they're anime towards mechas or animes towards sci-fi which is still great! (thora did code geass r2 in 720 while these guys are doing the show in 1080)

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: I think he's the only encoder that uploads and contributes the most, dunno if he has his own site or not but hell this is great you can find all of his anime by searching his name

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: great place to get movies both blu-ray and dvd encodes, quality at it's best just like coalgirls and thora but still a great group

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: Encodergasm hasn't released much in HD, but is among the encoders that know what they are doing as well, by Booyadude ლ(╹◡╹ლ)

- [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]: My own encodes which focus towards compression and hard-subbing HD anime for playback on PS3, originally wasn't to sure about uploading but gave a few tries and well, I enjoyed it!

Thanks for the links/info! Knew only of the first two, not the later 2.

ThorAnime, niizk, and CoalGirls are the only ones of real note, as they offer the highest quality. Encodergasm hasn't released much in HD, but is among the encoders that know what they are doing as well. NPC is too, but they've yet to release their first "HD" encode, Samurai Champloo (BDs have less detail than the DVD anyway).

Of course, all it takes to be a good encoder these days is --preset veryslow --tune animation.
