@MJM128: Actually, you can call any time span that spans 10 years a decade.
But if you talk about the xxxth decade, you'll always start with a xxx1. Furthermore the 3rd millenia and the 21st century started during the 2000s, not with them. Or did I mistake your intention and you weren't trying to prove me wrong? ^^ Quote:
Back on topic: The most underrated anime of this decade is probably NANA. How come this one isn't more popular? |

You must be a math major, because only a math major can be so anal over a detail like that. Yes, its technicly accurate that a decade runs from 01 to 10 because our current calander started at year 01 rather than year 00, however that line of reasoning serves no useful purpose and is entirely impractical for everyday use.

true, the new-age term "noughties" starts from the year 2000 (since the "s" in "2000s" means you include from the beginning)
But the 21st century and the 3rd millennium did technically begin January 1 2001 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] btw Schno was only stating the fact that this decade only ends at the end of this year, so actually a better anime could possibly still appear that applies to this thread Toradora! for me |
