I disagree. Theres lots of good series, sure, but theres also lots of good series from the 80s and 90s aswell (probably before then too, though I honestly havent watched much pre-80s stuff).

Not really. There are a few, like Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, GTO, NGE, Berserk and Cowboy Bebop. But about 90% of all good animes were made in this decade.

i think Yu Yu Hakusho should be added in that list of 90s anime

but like these we are getting off-topic, since we should be discussing anime of this decade, so what about Fairy Tail, it just started but it's an anime with great potential

Exactly. The new decade started on January 1, 2001.

Edit: Fairy Tail? Even if you're extremely optimistic about this one, it couldn't possibly become one of the best of the whole decade. There are like 50 animes which are clearly better than it no matter what kind of preferences you have and another 1000 which could easily be called better depending on your preferences.

dude i don't think anyone, well any normal person on the planet is that specific about when the decade started if it the decade does truly start on the 01 of every 10th years, then why the hell would they call it the 80s,90s etc and not the 81s,91s im sorry if im a seen as a moron or someting but i still believe the decade starts on the first year the year with a f*** 0 at the end
