Default The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya - 03-10-2009, 09:00 PM

The mini series based on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

From episodes 1-4 the animation was done in 3D, Episodes 5-8 has been in 2D. It's simply a series of random events.

Nope, it isn't, the episodes don't go over 5 minutes, though the downloads are available here both direct and Torrent downloads:

The first 3 are LAME... simply pathetic. But after 4 it's really funny.

It's almost like a mini comedy sequel to the original series. The first few episodes feel like they were created on the cheap to quickly capitalize on the desire for a sequel, but later they actually start using traditional animation. The comedy is fast paced part of the time (I had to watch the opening theme song like 5 times just to catch everything.), or hits subtly so that you dont react until 5 seconds later.
