This thread is dedicated to older classic anime or any anime that got you hooked into watching them.

Let me start
Hmm the first animes I watched were shin-chan, gatchamen, slayers, phantom thief Jeanne, and bunch of old mecha animes that i know korean titles but not japanese. I also watched stuff like cooking boy, sailor moon and wedding peach were a great hit, Rayearth, Card captor sakura (still better than the tsubasa series imo), I watched all the dragon ball, z, and gt b4 i was eight.

I grew up watching Dragon Ball and DBZ, Sailor Moon, Voltron, etc (etc because I don't remember but I think there was more)

First anime I bought was Akira. I still have that around here..... somewhere.

i can remember the first i watched was thundercats, then dragonball, slayers, sailor moon, voltron along with other mecha animes, pokemon, digimon and other stuff because at the time i didnt know what anime was

The first anime i watched was Fma(old one) and i like trigun in old anime!

The original Macross was the first anime I watched, but it was called Robotech in the US for some reason. I think they didn't want to say it was anime since everyone had their names changed from their Japanese ones.

Sailor Moon was my first anime. I recall watching some of Ah! My Goddess and Ranma 1/2 as well. That was aaaages ago, though. Oh, the memories.

My first was anime was either Dragonball back when toonami started or Sailormoon when it was on in the morning before school . My first thing i ever watched that was from japan thou was Godzilla back when i was two or four. on a side note i also started the pokemon craze at my school waaaaay back in the 3rd grade you know when it was cool and not lame.
