Let se I remember Crayon shin chan, jetman, fiveman, yuyu hakusho, akazukin chacha for teh lulz. I dunno what anime was before, but I realize that when I was in HIgh school they were.

I taped almost all of the robotech that they showed. I really want to watch that now that I've mentioned it. Damn

I think the first one I saw was Pokemon. It was quite popular back then.And after a while Slayers.That's when I discovered the anime tv channel in my country. And that's when all teh fun begun. I started watching Slayers, Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho every evening. I would get very angry everytime I missed an episode. These are the clasics for me. And what else I wonder? Kiddy Grade also comes to mind. I was so impressed by them that my imagination was totally into it. When I was bored at school, I would start to imagine different sequences from these anime series. And even now, if you ask me which are my favourite series, I always start with those I've seen first. Yu Yu Hakusho on top of the list. Not to mention that after a while I became friends with a girl that also loved anime, we were about 12 and she had a mobile phone which we would always use to record the openings and endings of our fav anime series. Just imagine two weird kids in the park, swinging while singing out load "Kujikenaikara!!! my heart"
