Probably Clannad made me sad the most. Some other series that made me quite sad were Angel Beats, True Tears, and Bokura ga Ita.

Eh? I fail to comprehend how Angel Beats was sad. I mean yeah there were some sad moments (mainly near the end) but it really wasn't a sad anime =/

It was the fact that even though throughout the series we were getting none too upsetting info on the story, its how it all fits together in the end and how Otonashi realizes everything that happened. Thats what makes the end so sad, it just piled every last bit of emotion into the last scene to make it a real doozy of a finish and by the look of things, it workedXD

Mainly School Days and Clannad, but parts of Beck, parts of Elfen Lied, True Tears, and Bleach: Memories of Nobody were sad, IMO. :3
