I only have the first ost and I like it a lot. And like Rin said it suited the anime (which as far as I'm concerned is what an ost should do). You're entitled to your opinion though as I am to mine.

The best OST ever made will be the one of Ghost in the shell. Especially Origa with Inner Universe. I totally am into metal, but that song is AWESOME.

The ones i also like a lot: Jigoku Shoujo, Wolf's Rain and Noir. Some of the songs of Tsubasa Chronicle where ok as well. The ones of Clannad and Clannad OST also fitted the anime really well.

MACROSS FRONTIER OST!
Fate/Stay Night OST was pretty good, but alot of those were just borrowed from the game.
Phantom's OST was also good, as previously stated.

True, Origa's Inner Universe is awesome. Jigoku Shoujo too.
As for Tsubasa, I thought the music was the best thing about it

Depends on the point of view. All in all, there's no "best thing ever". There's always something better for someone.

My thoughts exactly. I've really good osts but nothing I can say this is the best too.
Seems like other people think otherwise though.

Everything stated that it's not a fact, it's an opinion. Thus, stating every single time that it's an opinion it's plain stupid.

And going back to topic, Inner universe is from the "Ghost in the shell: SAC" Ost, made by Yoko Kanno. The real "Ghost in the shell" ost is made by Kawai Kenji... and it's not that good really.
GiTS: SAC Ost was good... but I never consider it among the ones I like simply because it doesn't have much of instrumental music. That's not bad really, it's just that it doesn't feel like an ost for me.
