I'm a big fan of a lot of Kawada Mami's songs that have been used as openings and endings.

Kawaii Kenji is also a god when it comes to OSTs.

Everyone knows and loves Kenji Kawai's music (right?) and here's one of the best tracks from the original Ghost in the Shell movie. Sadly there's no youtube video of its original use during the intro showing Motoko being assembled, or when she takes a walk through the city at night in the rain...

Kawai Kenji has horrible osts as stars in the sky. He does make great ost from time to time, but I have lost count of many average/bad ost I've listened of him... which is in part related to the stupid quantity of ost he has made through the years.

In spite of what he's released lately (which I'm not familiar with), he still has a lot of great work. He's no Joe Hisaishi, but he doesn't suck.

Not at all. Never said he was bad. In fact, his "seirei no moribito" ost is among my all time favorite osts. It's just he's not as good as seto naoki, yiku kajiura or yasuharu takanashi, from which I haven't heard a bad ost yet.

This doesn't sound like you think he's any good.

Anyways, misunderstandings aside, Kenji isn't the best, but he's better than most. And when a musician has that many ost's, there's going to be certain works that fall short. Joe Hisaishi is amazing... but if he had 50 ost's, a lot would be below par. Yoko Kano is a legend, but even she has ost's that aren't that good. It happens.

Bleach/Naruto each have their own good songs though kind of gets overplayed.

But Bleach's Soundscape to Ador & Battle Ignition is awesome.

Gundam00's ED, Yuna Ito - Trust You. The acoustic version in one of the latter episodes fit very well.

I liked DTB's OST as well but I can't find the theme that always plays when Hei is bout to pwn some face :/

FMA & BR both had some great tunes too, new BR OP is pretty nice.

All I can think for now!
