It is a good anime and all that, but it can easily be summed up in 5 words.

Yomi Yomi Yomi.... Yomi... Yomi.

It is for that reason that I actually liked the manga better.

i really enjoyed the show as well but i liked the designs used for the people in the 1st episode the best. to bad , i really wanted to get to know them more the most of the later characters . oh well a descent show as a stand alone. i havent seen the manga.

I looked around for a widescreen yomi pic... but it seems there is a huge lack of them. A shitload of narrow, upright pictures. And the ws images I came across all looked like crap. I'd rather give you nothing than give you crap.

thanks for the effort at least. but anyway just finished my first series in a single day and guess what that series name was?!?! i must also say i did get a little emotional on the last 2 episodes and as always i wish it wouldnt end. but if it never did end i would be pissed off cuz nothing of any importance would ever happen. it sucks how you cant find a good series that is perfectly balanced in those 2 areas.

This is one of my favorite Anime's. I remember watching the first episode and thinking "Giant CG Dodongo...ok. Spinning attack motorcycle? I don't know if I'm going to keep...SWEET LORD WTF!?

Seriously though, it was masterfully done imo. Yomi made such a wicked villian. When she appeared in the fog on the phone and said "Hello, Kagura!" I crapped my pants.
