So I just finished watching ef: a tale of memories/melodies and I have to say, it was probably one of the most artistically creative animes I've seen. The intertwining storylines really brought out the best in each series. I really enjoyed both and I would suggest this anime to others. But what are some other opinions on this show? Where does it rank for you? I would like to hear some feedback (positive or negative) on this topic.

I'm kinda making this thread cuz im bored with the other threads.

I have it bookmarked for a future download... but I think this is one of those good series that not many people have seen.

Was a really good anime I have to say. Had to marathon both season out of pure enjoyment.

I wholeheartedly recommend the first series, though I can't speak for the second one as I have not scene all of it yet(damn you thora). What I have seen, though, I have not enjoyed as much as the first.

not watching melodys till at the very least 720p blu ray encode is out same for spice and wolf 2
watching it in any thing lower is an insult to the show

Its my favorite anime together with Clannad/Clannad after story and i could add to my top 5 drama series Hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora Now its like that

#1 Ef - a tale of memories
#2 Ef - a tale of melodies
#3 Clannad(Its not exacly drama but it can move you to tears sometimes)
#4 Clannad After Story
#5 Hanbun no tsuki ga noboru sora\

Everyone says these series are worth it, and afaik got them lying somewhere on some random harddrive. Though not a big fan of drama o_O
