It was a decent end but I felt slightly let down.The paradoxical motives of the princess were quiet baffling and took the sheen out the ending for me.She just friggin' denies the purpose for all her actions before and then later teams up with him to go on a journey all around merry ol' Japan.Does anyone else get some NTR vibes here....

Also,is Shichika invincible?He got shot all over the place with those guns that apparently burn your insides and it looked like he hardly felt a thing. Too much 'Godu Modo' there. The fight against those 12 blades was fun but way too short and Eomonzaemon as the final boss was too uni-dimensional and unintresting:/

Oh well,no point bitching about it.
It was a nice ride but I feel it could have been wrapped up (or explained )better.

Well, he did have experience dealing with the swords before and now he has no restrictions. So, defeating them all was nothing and not to mention that they're a lot weaker than the original carriers, except for Eomonzaemon. I would've liked for him to be defeated in under 10 seconds, like all of the rest. It would've given me a great sense of joy.

That was an ending I liked. I'm also satisfied with it, except for the blonde girl following him but I couldn't care. I liked the mention of him maybe dying on the roadside and the fact that he fulfilled someone's wish for at least a while.
Beautiful ending. Beautiful words were said. Beautiful scenery and fights. Although the first 11 were kinda meh, and slightly repetitive (since they were 11... not 2 or 3), I still liked the episode.
Didn't want the castle to get that much damage though. Haha.
Kyotoryuu was badass with his newly found personality though. I approved.

The only disappointing thing I felt about the show was Shikizaki Kiki. He was a complete badass, especially when he was inside Maniwa Houou - so much win there. I wish I would have seen more of the past and his story. Perhaps that could still be a possibility, but I think it's forever gone now. I would have liked to see him forging the swords, or reading the future and such. But the story with Togame and Shichika was very well done.

so awesome, so good. loved this show til the very end. got kinda choked up when Kogome died. took me almost a week to bring myself to watch the rest of the episode. i always have a hard time watching the last ep of a good series tho. ended better than i thought it would. i was assuming EVERYONE would die. lol. so in a way it was about as positive an ending as possible for the tone of the show. i also got kinda choked up when they showed the Maniwa and all the people that died at the end. even the bad guys were likeable on this show and i honestly felt bad when they died, especially Pengi. that was some cold shit. haha. i too will probably archive this show and show it to all my friends. best show of the year and i am REALLY gonna miss it. and i didnt even touch on Shichikas utter destruction of all those chumps. SO. EPIC!!!!!

I loved this show. The comedy, the balance of humor and the bloodlust of Shichika at the end was very nice. I wasn't disappointed by the ending as many other series made me expect the worst. All in all the series is a must watch with a good balance between story and action.
